spidey got me to thinking there.... you cant beat your first car experience when u were a child, the old family car dads pride n joy..and i think for most ..who's parents had a car they will remember that car well.. for me it was this bad boy the hill man hunter tho if i think hard.. probably not my dads 1st car as he changed his car every other week but was defo my fav...

I remember a bright orange Cortina, then a navy / blue one, and possibly a green one, and a light tan one.

My dad had one of these. 5 series. Was six at the time so too young to appreciate it though. How I would love one now

This is a Wartburg 353W
It's a 1 liter 2 stroke 3 cyl "beast" from Germany with about 50 hp. Dad had this for fairly long time and I loved it. I was 6-ish:)

i loved theses i actually stood outside a garage and tossed a coin
between buying one of them or a 1.6 vectra in 1997...the vectra won but man i loved that primera as well.. subsequently couple a years later i bought one and ended up in a really bad smash and the car saved my life the entire car was crushed except for the drivers space...so belive me i have a hell of a lot of respect for this car ironically the car that ran into me at 110 miles per hour 'while i was stationary 'was also a primera???

somewere in the 80s my dad bought this and i nearly died as the professionals was huge on the telly at the time...this was class and truth be told i looked at a hell of a lot of theses before buying the 2,,but they were in bits n just looked awful...tho im not writting them off just yet ill come back in a year or '2' see if the right one pops up

This was the first car i remember my dad having, the most amazing thing about it from my childhood perspective was it had:
rear seat belts(which no other car had at the time) and
it had wipers on the lights, i use to have my dad pestered "put on the wipers on the lights.." hehe!
