Cheers man. Got it sorted. . The car was spluttering on full boost and it brought up a O2 sensor when I done a flash check.. took out the sensors to check it and to further investigation I found the connection on the heater sensor in the cat was melted. Then found a split in the turbo pipe. changed plugs and added octane booster and now she's boosting good all the way to 1 bar..need the pipe though cus I only taped it up for now☺thanks for the reply though

My Turbo is suffering from the same issue, I have bought spark plugs and a fuel filter. I'm hoping this will solve mine. The first day I had it back on the road, it would hardly run. It got a bit better, now it happens when I am boosting in third, that is as I am going up through the gears. Sounds like fuelling to me.

I will keep you posted.

I man if it's like mine. Good luck. Ha.when it first happened to me I thought it was fuel so I changed the fuel filter and done so many tests.in the end I changed the ecu for a self learning one I got on this site. Was grand for ages then happened recently..I unplugged my o2 on the way home from work yday and its been running great ever since.so iv ordered one from toyota. You should see if you get a flash code on yours

hopefully the new sensor cures mine. It's running fine since I unplugged the O2. .If it was a seal on the injector it would splutter all the time you would think instead of an intermittent problem. . One more thing to look out for

FYI.

Replaced Spark plugs, car running sweet. One plug fouled up. I have the fuel filter and I will replace it during the summer.

Got the pipe in and the car ran fine.I then put in the O2 sensor and after a spin it felt a bit hesitive at high Rpm. I removed the efi fuse, battery and ecu over night to see if it cleared the code..its still reading code 21 which is an o2..It was a toyota o2 sensor. Anyone have this problem before?

HI

I have been having similar problems with my rev 5 turbo. and i still have not got to the bottom of it.

So far i have changed the 02 sensor, capacitors in the ECU and verified that the Intake manifold temperature sensor and the water jacket temperature sensor are all working.

still no joy.

My symptoms happen when the car reaches temperature then it wont boost and appears to be running very rich. the funny thing is, that below operating temperature it boosts fine.

Ill be interested to see what solves your problem.

Mine is completely stock.
