Theres no such thing as a cheap power fc.there always gonna be making mad money

theres one on imoc at the moment for £600 and its for a rev 3 +

will obviously need to be mapped when you put it on your car as he has it mapped for a different turbo and injectors etc but i take it you'd be getting it mapped anyway

i saw in your other thread your already running a mines ecu chances are if your car came in from japan with all the mods and that ecu then its been correctly set up by a tuner in japan and a power fc might only squeeze a small bit of power out of it with a new map

if your planning on adding some more mods to up the power then a power fc would be needed alright as the mines ecu's are generally locked and need to be hacked im sure and no-one here really knows much about them.

does your car have an upgraded intercooler aswell?

Cheers lads..yeah I've seen a few for ok money and mad money. What other ecus are good to get?. I'm gonna get new exhaust for Xmas and then a upgraded intercooler lad

Forget changing ECU lad ... The stock ecu is good enough .. The cheapest option is an Apexi Neo and get it setup correctly .. It is a piggyback unit for the stock ecu ..


De-Cat is the biggest power increase you will get and a decent exhaust system ... A Upgraded Cooler ... And a good Induction Kit ... Then a Boost Controller and an Apexi Neo ...

Then good suspension, Brakes and Tyres .. Then you will get the best out of the car ...

Martin Tracey at Westward Engineering ... He will have the car setup on the dyno and you will have an exact BHP of the car ...

Cheers japohara..any idea on price and the set up on the neo?..and do I need to buy extra cable to connect it to my ecu or the harness goes somewhere else? Cheers

About 175 to get it setup on the dyno ...

You can buy a harness extension if you want but I just made mine up myself ..

It needs to go to the ecu in the boot ... I will post up some pics later of it wired in ...

That's not to bad..wouldn't have a notion on how to make an extension myself
