Our boot lids are made to the highest quality and like all our products you can be sure these are an excellent fit. Our carbon boots are made with and FRP skeleton and have a layer of carbon on the outside. Standard boot lids weigh around 7kg our FRP/CF boot lids weigh around 4kg.

I have read about the original MR2 boot-lid spring can be too strong for some carbon boot lids, what's your opinion on this ?

Yes we think this will be the case we haven't tested it yet but we think that if the spring is installed and the boot release is pulled the force of it may spring the lid up and damage it. We will do some testing and I'll post up results.
