What a day that potentially could have been, had done a few things to the car over the previous few weeks so I was delighted and confident rocking up on the morning. With the weather the way it was (and more importantly how it was the following day) it had the makings of best-day-ever.

And then my clutch died

Managed to get it home though and was great to meet so many MR2 heads on the day, thanks to John, Eamon (I think it was Eamon ), Ray and the other lads that where chipping in to give me a hand, was a bit stressed but having people in know pointing me in the right direction made it so much easier than it would of been so was really really appreciated!

Great to see a good day was had all round (even though some issues were had) and hopefully we get a similar turn out of MR2's on the 24th of July

For anyone with insight I stuck a thread up on backroads with pics of my clutch, bleeding it didn't help so I'm thinking it's box off time at this stage

Just as closure (I hope) for the lads that helped with my clutch problem, today I found this awaiting me when I dropped out the gearbox
