mr2 mk2 conversion or just buy tubby 9 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 7
open to ideas nct is due end of month so after that im ether selling my n/a for a tubby or keeping it for a conversion

the only thing putting me of the conversion is the time and labour .

with a 10 week old baby and being a painter this time of year is just crazy (which I cant complain)

any way what price and how long has it taken previous ppl to do it ?

I recommend a conversion but probably since i done it before and because its a lot cheaper.
I got my crashed tubby on donedeal with a tonne of goodies for 700E
It takes about 2 full days to do an engine swap if you know what youre doing and about a week if you dont,
minimum requirements are basic tools, sockets, spanners, engine crane and the help you get from everyone here, you will be grand.
If you dont have a car lift i recommend pallets, thats what i use.

Sounds like you won't have much time to do things julo, so I think you should take the easy way out. Sell your n/a and by a turbo version.
