Right guys finally got around to cutting the crashed mr2 i had in half for the bbq,
Will hopefully have it ready for a few meets this summer, the rear was surprisingly very light.

Going to be interesting!!
The engine bay is big enough that you could do an ice/beer bucket and sound system. Then put the bbq in the boot space if you could cut out a U shape tailgate that would lift up...
Fun project!

We hope to have it finished for the mullingar lakes meet this sat.
Yeah gonna put a floor in the engine bay for cooler, beer and coal, no music for now.
Ive no BBQ to put in the boot but i may have just though of something else that may work as a BBQ stay tuned...

Will the indicators and stop lights be wired in to the main car too? Impressive workmanship there!
You just need to come up with something cool to use the fuel filler neck for too |

As for fuel cover use it as beer dispenser.
Put a box of beers inside facing the hole and pull them out one by one through the fuel filler hole :-D |

failing your beer dispenser idea, you could tac on a little bar across the filler neck to make a bottle opener

Thanks, Jimmy did most of the works.
Got her back from Japohara today with stickers.
And made a fire in the rims to get burn off old paint and stuff.

Will be throwing her up on Donedeal next week after i get a few more uses out of her over the weekend
the mr2 is well capable of towing, plenty of power i think its selfish to use it all to yourself, tow something lol
