lads im looking to buy a dump valve but i havent a clue wich one to get i was trying to get something that sounds cool but doesnt leak either i was thinking of this on ebay

I'd recommend a hks ssqv, I have one on my own car as I love the sound it makes. I wouldn't however be buying one off that seller, those ones he is selling are knock offs, the tell tale sign is the price, a genuine hks bov is much more expensive new.
If they are too expensive new buy a decent used one of one of the forums from a trusted member rather than a fake from some random on ebay as it will likely cause problems or break.

thanks infamous i kind of guessed it was fake not a hope id get a genuine one new for that money

will keep an eye out for any dump valves for ya cozzy and will let ya know if i spot anything decent as i'm always trawling for car parts! Now that you've reminded me about dump valves i'm off to start my own thread on one

You'll need an adapter for it to fit the hard pipe if you need a pic of one fitted just ask

if you have a picture handy that would be savage

ahh i get you now you have the proper one aswell cost quite a bit of money new you can get adapters for it to make a little whistle noise with the whoosh sound

right well i found a dump valve not a hks but i got a forge dumpvalve now i need to get an adapter for it anybody know the size i should get is the hot pipe 3"?

Hey Cozzy, that BOV on ebay is a copy - if you look at the description it mentions 'HKS Style' - if you want an original HKS then Murray Motorsport Dublin have them on sale at the moment www.murraymotorsport.ie/products/hks-sup...-blow-off-valve-kits - not cheap but it's the real deal!!
