Hi Folks.
New to the site. Got myself mr2 mk3 face lift model a few months ago with rear left caliper catching. Not a problem usually but unfortunately there seems to be a few types and of course mine was the rare one!!
Could only find one in europe in Denmark which would only slow post it to me (2 weeks). Sent old one to England for reconditioning and they could not source the seals. Sent me back a new one presumably from Denmark 3 weeks later!!
All sorted now thank god!! But can't do without a car for a month again. Anyone know a where's the best place to get sorted for things like this in the future??

Seems odd that you couldn't get a caliper sorted anywhere but Denmark.
There are loads of places in the UK that do parts, to name a few...
cheaptoyotaparts
fensport
camskill
not to mention the numerous breakers mr2 specialist breakers GTS Chris, Sbits, MR MR2, MR2Bitz etc.
Also a lot of the bigger breakers would carry bits for mr2s like www.traynors.co.uk/ in the North or MSI in the South.
Sign up to www.mr2roc.org and put up a request there in the parts wanted section if you need anything in the future. They also have a group on facebook if you search for it, there are a lot of parts bought and sold on their and plenty of guys and gals willing to offer advice on there.
