Devastated to say the least. Dealt with Joe on numerous occasions and became good friends with the chap. Rest in peace Joseph.

I couldn't believe the news of his death. I met him a few times and chatted to him on the phone. He was a great guy who had such a great indepth knowledge on all things MR2. He will be missed by a lot of folks and will be a great loss to the MR2 community. My thought go out to all his family and close friends. RIP Joe.

I never met him but it's clear from the way people spoke about him how great a loss this is. RIP Joe.

That is awful news. i had got a few things from him a few years ago to bring my two back to its lovely original. he was a tremendous resource and will be sorely missed by the community. RIP

Just a reminder all there is a collection in his name for charity: www.mycharity.ie/event/mr2joeoreilly/ Donations don't have to be massive. If you have 5 or 10 euro to contribute I'm sure it would still make a difference.

R.I.P Joe.
Meet joe one time on my way back from galway to dublin and he was brill for directing me to his house, real nice man. Just spent about half an hour talking with him and I didnt want to leave caus he was so knowledgeable, but I had my girlfriend in the car, getting bored looking at the sheep and we had to get back to dublin. Took about 6hrs all in from galway via tuam to Dublin but a great trip and one I will never forget. My heart goes out to the family and freinds.

Sad news, am shocked, a young man who gave his time helping us. I called his mobile number this afternoon, and thought it was odd he didn't answer. He was a great guy.
