Thats quite a list of cars GW

I see they basically ignored your advice re: PSNI notification. I think they get the wrong idea about it

I would be tempted to go down to Carrick just to have a look at some of those motors though and perhaps not do the drive with them ... surely they are almost bound to attract attention from 'the boys'. The only thing that might save them is they are all different makes of cars.

So what's the deal with the Evo? Are the PSNI into modding cars now? Funny.

Twats. Entrapment all the way. I have seen it here before over the years. Undercover cops going around in "modded" cars, pulling up bedside lads and trying to provoke them into a race, just so that they can do them. It's so wrong and totally unfair!

I saw one guy once, about 4 years ago in town. He was in a GT Starlet, a nice white one, and out of nowhere, this other modded GT Starlet appeared, a manky brown one. It pulled up beside the white one at the lights, beeped the horn, revved like mad. The other guy ignored him, but the brown one keep up the slagging and waving, beeping and revving and pissed the guy off, so when the lights went green he shot off away from them, as far as I was concerned, but they threw on the blues and twos and pulled him in. ASSHOLES! He was doing nothing, minding his own business and they tricked and bullied him into that situation.

I hadn't seen it since and then last Tuesday night coming home from town, they tried it on me! A red Mondeo. I mean come on, this thing was SOOO obvious. Stood out a mile and they were driving like TOTAL lunatics! Flying all around me like an angry wasp, pulling up beside me, flying off, slamming on, hopping lanes. Then they shot off and crossed 3 lanes to exit the road only to swing around and come flying back past me again and then pulled off the next exit, AGAIN! I was just cruising along, under the limit, minding my own business, about 11.30PM....I totally ignored them, even when then shot up the inside of me and drove along on my left side (I was in the middle lane) staring in at me. Blanked them intentionally and they eventually got bored and then pissed off. Idiots. They are the most dangerous drivers on the road, tearing around pulling crazy dangerous stunts just because they have blue lights. They are as legally obliged to obey the rules of the road as the rest of us, but who is going to pull them over and tell them that huh? Power trip. Yet we are labeled as "dangerous" just because we are enthusiasts. That does not mean why go out and do anything illegal, it's just a hobby not a movie.

You should take a note of the reg of the cop car and report them to the police. They are obliged to follow the rules like anyone else unless they are responding to a call and have the lights going.

It is a form of harassment after all

Happened to me last x-mas, not sure if it was the red mondeo or a red hyundai, just totaly blanked them aswell, have the in car video now so any harrasment is welcome, video will be posted up on you tube
Myself and the wife were coming home a few months ago and saw a nice shiny sporty looking car up on the island as the road merges just before the statoil garage on the n7 (kill exit) we slowed down cause we though it had crashed up onto it, we crawled by it an it was a cop slouched down in his seat with the speed gun peeping over the side window, that was around 11.30pm aswell, it was the red hyundai. One of the lads I work with was telling me how his brother in law (a cop) was on the N7, a beemer absolutly flew by him and he put on the lights and went after him, the beemer slowed down and then absolutly floored it, he chased & he couldnt keep up but got the reg, went back to the station and it came up as a cop car, he said they do private taxi service for govt officials, popstars etc etc

Ah sure if we are all telling tales, here's mine.

Many years ago coming onto the Nenagh Bypass going up the climbing lane as it was. A Subaru Forester came blasting up to my rear bumper, same MO couldn't see the reg they were that close. But I could see the little lights in the front. So up behind a truck I trundle at about 45mph and wait for the broken lines.

Now here is the nasty bit for them, my car will hits the limiter at about 62mph (100Kmh) so I nailed it to pass the truck, they duely followed (silly to be that close to a car especially mine) about half way past the truck I hit the limiter, there on full boost and nearly sideway trying not to hit me. I put the car into fifth and drop back to 50MPH and hug the left of the road to let them pass.

They didn't bother trying anymore and pulled in to wait for an easier target.

Eat my shorts!!!

Really don't care for this baiting thing they do, and needed to express it to them LOL.

If were telling stories heres another one. It involves the cops and blatant stupidity.

I was working late 1day and left around 2am in the morning, driving a Glanza V which I owned for just 3days at the time. A purple corolla flashed me on the way home. I assummed they knew me. Kept going.
Corolla turned around to follow me. I taught boy racers, kept going.
Heard sirens, but there was no flashing lights on this corolla. I taught MUST be an ambulance nearby, blessed myself, kept going.
Theres a steep hill where I live. High turbo = Lost the corolla, kept going.
About 5mins later, nearly home the purple corolla and another squad car nearly drove me off the road! I barely avoided em. I freked, jumped outta the car. Asked em whats up???

They told me to "get in to d car and turn off the fog lights"?? I didnt know how and in the heat of the moment, pushed the wrong button and the mirrors retraced! I must of looked suspicious. They asked if it was even my car, but thank God I'd all the sales invoices from 3days previous.
I was told how, "I drove tru a check point, evaded a pursuing cop car and dat they were going to arrest me, an take my new car" ?!?
I told em, "I'm tired and only going home from work" ,and what I've just wrote here. They said next time there's a car chasing you, sirens blaring - PULL IN. It might be the gaurds
They kinda watched me 4awhile but as I'd no record or points, nothing else further happened. True story. Funny huh

Dipsticks. I was once driving along a small road, in my first car and I noticed a car sitting ON my back bumper, could not have been any closer with out contact. I didn't react, kept on within the limit. Thought they were just looking for a reaction, I wasnt driving long so had not much confidence and was a bit nervous still.

Anyway, out of nowhere lights and sirens, so they are cops, ok, I pull in. Guy and a girl. Guy comes up and starts screaming at me!?! Im like, what? I KNOW I did nothing wrong. Asks for licence, stares at it for ages, checks reg over radio, checks insurance, tax everything. Asks me my name. I said my name, as per driver license you are looking at. Asks me if I have any drugs. I say no, never did drugs in my life. He asks me "not even a little bit?" I said, NO NEVER DID ANY DRUGS EVER...no drugs. Are you sure he is shouting. I asked what his problem was and he accused me of being someone else. Insisted I was this other guy with an asian name. I explained that my name was my name and was on my license, and that he CLEARLY was not talking to an asian dude. So then he goes on to say its the same car that he drives. I happened to know of the guy he was talking about, he was a known drug dealer, yes, an asian guy and I had seen his car. I explained this to the cop. So then he pushed that I was in his gang and was his buddy. No, I know of him, I have seen him around. He drove a green Corolla with a bodykit. I was driving a navy Carina E with a bodykit. I asked him how the hell he thought they were the same car and I was the same person. He would not let it go and kept shouting and screaming that I was this guy and I had the car loaded with drugs. I think he was actually loaded with drugs to be honest. The female cop eventually had enough, came over, apologised to me (wow!) for a clear case of mistaken id (NO F**KING SHIT!) and dragged him away in the car. Nut job in a uniform.

Had one other incident in my first couple of months driving, not worth getting into detail again, but just another traffic cop with a vendetta, some vigilante super cop (in his own head) trying to rid the world of males between 17 and 25 for no reason other than a score card to bet against the other lads in the station. "I nailed 8 today, how about you?"

Little story recently enough myself, not that exciting and didn't involve cops or whatever but was out with the GF in her little fiesta driving down the clane road on the limit and an asshole in a dark grey mondeo flew up behind us and basically sat on her bumper. She slowed down because she didn't feel safe but he wouldn't back off, he was throwing his hands up in the air and no doubt turning the air blue inside his car, so while he was watching i very obviously turned around in the passanger, took out my phone and took a picture of his car sitting on her bumper, 2 seconds later when he realised what I'd done hebacked off a mile lol just something to try if you're having the same trouble and hapopen to have a passanger in the car
