As most of you know i used to own a Starlet and at the minute im currently the Leinster Rep www.toyotagtturbo.com. Would anyone be interested in a meet combined of the two at some point?

Now i can guess what some of you are thinking,boy racers,in general shit heads. But thats not tolerated on TGTT or at meets.We have our drags and track days for that.And not only are they young but (they'll kill me ) old.John who i can only guess an age (over 30 or so) is running a 4wd TD04 starlet pushing 300FWHP.But the most important bit is they all have level heads and can have a good laugh without acting out.
Im sure some here would appreciate the work gone into some of the cars ( and probably find it funny that alot are using bigger turbo's than the MR2 lol ) as will they.

It'd just be a meet up,a few pictures and a general talk.
Just thought id see what the response is,plus im due to have a meet,last one i had was about 6 months ago when i had a starlet at Bishopscourt were the EBC spiked to 1.6 bar on a stock block

Anyhow,if your not up for it,no problem,i wont put anything up on TGTT just yet but they wont have a problem with it at all.

Do you have a ballpark idea of dates and/or location ?

We have the MR2.ie Birthday overnighter to Athlone on weekend of 18/19 September. So, once its not too close to that, hopefully we'll get decent numbers from MR2.ie.

Somewhere around November but Athlone might be a bit far for some of the Northies,We had a meet in Mullingar last time at a lake (drive in,parking spaces etc) and it seemed the most centrally located for all.Its handy aswell because its on the Dublin road so the Northies and Dubliners can get there handy without getting lost
