Gates open 9am.
Racing Starts 10am and will continue uninterrupted until 4pm.
6 hours of Drag Racing
Race as many times as you like.
One dedicated contestant clocked up 23 runs at April's event
Over 1100 Time cards issued at each event.
Cars, Bikes, Quads
Race whatever you want.
Race whoever you want.
They don't need to be road legal, they just need to be road worthy.

Class Finals will be held between 4pm and 5pm
Classes Decided by Speed (Nothing else matters):

Demo
Top Car
11.50 second class
12.50 second class
13.30 second class
14.30 second class
15.30 second class

Don't want to race, then why not enter the show and shine for free.

The person who organises this is called Colin. I have known Colin since he was no age but he also used to (more recently ) work at East Coast Customs.

I was talking to him on Saturday at the dyno test day for the Toyota GT club. As usual I told him to sell his piece of Subaru rubbish and buy a 2, but I also suggested he post up the next Straightliners gig here, in case anyone wanted to go.

Just thought I should explain as he is a new member without introduction. Its OK .... he's one of us


@Colin: do I get a free pass? this is the same weekend as the Athlone trip I told you about but, assuming I go to that, I could drive back that way. The wife would be really chuffed

Nice one Spanky. I had read the post last night and thought it was a little blunt, not even a hello, but you covered it. Appreciate the background.

Sounds like a great event, I would LOVE to go, but as you say, it clashes with Athlone unfortunately. Id be very tempted to go along to the next one for sure!

I was at this last year. It was decent enough, just be prepared for alot of honda's.

Its already 'Royal Blue Pearl' so probably no need. That said, I could get a few more of those mix-to-order tins from Halfords and colour it in

Pity it falls the same time as your Athlone trip, would love to see more MR2's taking part. At this rate it might just be Spuddy in his new project.
