Wow that is a superb tour guys, well done. I would need to rack up gigantic browny points to participate in any of those legs, so unfortunately I can't commit for now. But I'm sure that is going to be some fantastic tour. How many cars are coming over?

There are 7 of us coming over and an other two joining us in Ireland.

Nice nice nice. Hopefully some of the peeps from here will join you. I suppose you don't know what time you would get to Galway on the Sunday? wife would kill me but if I bring one of the kids maybe I could drive over and then come back in the convoy

We are setting of from Achill island at 10am,so going through Galway at approx 3-4pm.

I think i will be able to get over to Athlone to at least say hello again, i'm going to try get for the drive from Galway to Athlone but i can't commit to it just yet. I'm sure it will be another super trip for ye.

If anyone needs anymore detail on this just let me know. So far we have 10 cars confirmed to attend with 6 from Scotland. 1 from England and 3 from Ireland.
If anyone wants to meet up at any stage on any of the days PM me so that we can swap mobile numbers.

Well Im back from the first day and what a fantastic day it was. Not a cloud in the sky. We had seven cars in convoy. Three Tubbys, three N/As and one V6.
No photos unfortunately as I have no co pilot. Tomorrow we leave from Ballyclare in the North and head West to Omagh, Sligo and then dowm to Achill Island for an overnight stop.

That's a shame  better that it happened before he got over here than to break down in the middle of Galway though i suppose
If i'm in sligo for 1pm tomorrow do you reckon i'll definitely beat you guys there?

I'm just in the door about 10 minutes after this, everything about the weekend was amazing, great driving, great scenery, great weather and great company, can't ask for more than that
I'm definitely going to do the highland drive next april now
