Hi ST, welcome aboard. Dave (dshamrock) mentioned you over the weekend.
Thanks for posting up all of this, its great to have parts available. A lot of us need bits and pieces now and then so hopefully you will sell some stuff here. There are quite a few of us over the west side of country too, Clare, Galway and Mayo etc.
Best of luck keep up posted in future also.
Cheers

Welcome along to MR2.ie
A few small part requests. Do you have the red lens/light drivers side (after Slipslide gets his one) ? Also, do you have the clips which hold the piece of boot carpet trim on (the section which covers the ECU) ?
If so, let me know how much posted to Dublin ?

If you have a perfect fitment bootlid with no rust I might be interested. Will be painted so general paint condition etc is not an issue as long as there are no deep scratches. If poss pm me some pics showing how it lines up against the tail lights and edges of the body.

As mentioned by ST, I will be heading there on Sunday, if anybody want parts collected give me a shout they will be delivered to dublin with care and can be picked up from me at any time.
Can only collect one time so first up, best dressed
Edit: If its not paid for, I will not collect it, all money items are thru ST and I am only collecting to help out.

Stumbled upon it under a cabbage patch
Its a long expensive story - Shell started life as a 1990 NA with plans to do a turbo transplant..
Got a full 95 jap import turbo car that was crashed for the doner car.. Had quite a few nice bits on it not least being the 46k mile engine. Cost me in excess of €3500 from a lad in UK..
Unfurtunatly for me when i drove down to pick up the doner car it turned out that the engine harness had been cut at the front bulkhead so had to get new harness from GTSChris.. then as the car was 1990 shell all the water pipes were shot so had to get all new water pipes under car, new rad ect.
Basically I dont have the time or money to continue this project now.. Just build my house and the wife is harping onto me to finish out the bits that need doing so something has to go.. unfortunalty this means that project MR2 is out the window
I have the log book for the car and receipts for almost everything i have bought so far.
Slipsliderg might take a look on Sunday and confirm same?
Cheers

We just wouldnt want to be leeching parts from some poor sods stolen car, so no offence, but we like to sure its a genuine break and not anything else. We dont want to feed/support cars being stolen for parts. I reckon from now on we will ask everyone for proof of ownership first unless they are a registered breaker, just so we can all sleep soundly!
Cheers for understanding.

No problem Quandry, in fact Geoff, I could drop it to you when I get back if you want, no problem. Now that is service for you
Anybody want to come along shotgun. Meeting a bloke at the spa hotel, lucan 11-00 Sunday morning then, 3 hours to Corofin, 1.5 hours in Galway to service Punky 1968 if he wants, then 2 hours back to lucan.
ST
Could you PM me a price for the ignitor and coil as well as the other bits, I think they may solve a problem I am having with the V6.

No problem at all Geoff and I havn't forgot, but I don't much care for such contrivance , I have stopped myself going on rant. But I will put up a thread on it in a minute now that the issue comes up and we are a predominately male membership.
ST, I will check the PM in a minute

Top bloke and a cracking cuppa tea as well. Collected the bits and pieces today for Rob, Quandry and myself. All as described, tax book is A1, all in order.
Plenty of bits and pieces there and would advise anybody needing anything to touch base with him.
Oh ST, thanks for the call and coming after me, I would forget my head at times
