Black TBar, Mk2 Rev 1, only 22k miles in tonights Belfast Telegraph. Buyer looking for £6k in website add and £5,900 in the paper. Claimed to be mint with FSH.


Too expensive though imo. Lucky if he gets £5k

The mileage is the only good thing about this car and I would be suspicious about 22k in 19 years.

I would say this car is lucky to get £2k ... its still a rev1 NA which have a maximum value.

If it does have the Toyota service history (for 19 years) then this might warranty the mileage but is not definite.

Do you fancy going to see it ... for a bit of craic

Also note that the photo of the car in the ad is not the actual car! If you had a car that good you'd have photo's of everything, steeringwheel, peddles, seats, interior etc

I'm tempted to go and have a nosey. I could rock up in the blue tubby and try to do a part exchange. Would be interesting to see how much the other owner would want me to add to mine for theirs

A friend of a friend from work went to see this last night. Says its absolutely mint as in almost showroom condidtion. From his description he could get decent money for it from an enthusiast, but not the money he is looking for But your right if I was selling a car like this I would have loads of photos up.

22k is ultra low mileage. Would love to see it. Maybe encourage the guy to bring it to the Irish Classic Car show - if he hasn't sold it by then that is.
