Our post has been coming in drips and drabs with the icey weather. Maybe AnPost are having a leaf through it?

You could always try pm'ing Pam on this board, maybe she mistakenly left you off the mail out..

I only got mine yesterday. And I subscribed after Quandry - maybe they didn't all go out on the same day but in order of whoever subscribed first.

I havn't seen mine either, but then again my subscription may have lapsed, but last year I got a mail telling me it was due for payment. No communication this year.

It’s been an action packed and eventful couple of months since our last issue, we’ve travelled nearly 3,000 miles on a Euro trip to Corfu putting the Roadster through its paces on some of Europe’s most breathtaking and exhilarating mountain passes, plus hooking up with the MR2 Roadster Club of Greece, members over in Corfu, an unforgettable experience where many new friendships were formed and fond memories for life.

We also made the record books, achieving the most MR2s in one place at one time, a 223 strong cavalcade of MR2s descending on Silverstone Circuit on the 31st May, where we lapped the circuit 3 times. It was a euphoric and momentous day and being both an MR2 owner and Editor of MR2 Only Magazine I was proud to be a part of lending a helping hand with the formalities.

We also attended the Classic car show, at Tatton, Cheshire, hosted by the MR2 Drivers’ Club, which neighboured the MR2 Mk1 Club stand. Another great and memorable day where two MR2 Mk1 Club members’ cars had some much deserved recognition winning trophies for best Japanese cars of show. I also picked up 2nd best Mk3 trophy for my Roadster Turbo on the DC stand and unexpected as it was, the trophy stands proudly on my desk.

Further a field we were sponsors of the Florida Spring Fling event that gathered together an impressive turnout of U.S. owners for some drag strip action, show and shine and autocross. There’s a great photo report of this event and others above in this issue.

Features wise, starting with the cover, sporting very seasonal summer time colours we have Jaewon's stunning widebody Spyder, an inspiring car with such amazing attention to detail, and of course best of show winner at the Spring Fling event, Ward Wilson’s Mk2 turbo with some of the most amazing custom work we’ve ever seen.

Moving on inside we have Jojo Ramos from the Philippines in his monstrous 350rwp Spyder, a car with supercar performance, and a modification and build list to envy. Another car from over in the U.S is Adrian House’s Mk2 Turbo, sporting the sleek and slinky spoilerless look, simple but so purposeful.

I also had the pleasure of receiving an article from a track experienced Mk1 owner and reader, who had the great opportunity to drive a friend’s Mk1 3.0 V6 conversion back to back around Castle Coombe circuit with his own 4AGE Mk1, which I read with great interest, as I’m always keen to hear how engine conversions actually perform and more importantly handle against the MR2 in its standard form.
