TPM are looking for affilation to other web forums which have an interest in Toyota performance cars.
Would it be of mutual benefit for our club to introduce ourselves to them via a post and become affiliated and therfore have more feelers out there to expand our membership. We are already known to the people at TPM, but it is an introduction into a worldwide community larger than just the MR2 world which I think may be of use.

Always useful to network Ray. I don't mind if you want to put up a post over there about us and become an MR2.ie rep?
One thing to note for them is that MR2.ie isn't a formal 'club' (i.e. in a legal sense), rather we're a website of interested parties i.e. a community so we have all of the fun without any of the baggage... or that's the idea anyway  |

I tried to send this mail to you last night and not sure if you got anything.
I have been talking to the lads in mr2.ie about becoming affilated to TPM, is thast possible and is there any protocols to follow in doing so.

Hi Ray!
I've got a stack of mail in my TPM inbox, so big that I could cry! As for affiliation: For the clubs, we're not interested in any money coming our way for that, as this is for the clubs, to boost Toyota. What we would ask for, though, is a banner exchange scheme. And we'll appoint your as a MR2.ie representative for TPM, which means you'll effectively bring the best bits of the forum to the MR2 section, i.e. cars, events, etc. We'd also ask that you let us know of any events that you'd either want publicising from the club, or that you'd want us to try to cover, and we'll add that to the Calendar.
