If it helps, I run 245x45x16 on mine (And 245/50x16 drag radials), and I had to roll the arches to make them fit - I put a thread up about it somewhere.
16's are the perfect size, imo.

I consulted the Oracle (mr2oc.com) and it seems that 10 is quite wide for the back of a 2. It will depend on the offset of the rims, the suspension setup that you have (macpherson or coil over) and also how low you have your ride height.
Here are some pics of 2's with 10" rear rim (note some are 18)

Some people are recommending 265 or 275 width tires for a 10 inch rim.
This is Alex's setup (tire looks ok?) - note he has quite aggressive camber and widebody arches.

There's a wheel/tire calculator website for the MR2 also: http://mr2.gordaen.com/wt_calc.php

You can't have ANY suspension travel at all when you're at that level!
I have maybe a total of 2cm total possible travel on mine before they hit the back of the wheel arch.

This is a good cross between streetable and nice looking (but not 10" and probably still needs a lip roll):
-17x8 +33 , 214-40-17
-17x9 +35 , 245-40-17

I like the look of Prada G's car (it's in our header too).
Fronts are 18x8 +21 wrapped with 215/35
Rears are 18x10 +23 wrapped with 255/35
Some camber thrown in and also guard pump + roll.... he is getting coil overs to lower the car as otherwise the rims would foul on the struts..
Looks unreal I think!

A place that does wheel alignment should be able to tell you your camber setup, but if you find you exact model wheels on a website, it should list the offset of the rim.

They may be imprinted on the inside in the metal, or possibly on a sticker.

Yes, I agree with Quandy, it should be imprinted on the metal in back of the wheel. Look behind one of the spokes, Find the "ET" number or just post what you see imprinted and I'll tell you what it means.

Back 18X9 JJ

Yes but there has to be a third set of numbers for the offset.

Dave, the offset is usually stamped inside/on the back of one of your spokes. If you cant see it there then it should be with your size coding. I think they always start with 'ET' I know my spare set are ET40 and I think this is a fairly common offset

I've checked out your wheels before Dave, pretty sure they're 18x8 +35 and 18x9 +35
Only disadvantage is the tire price, otherwise they're perfect for an MR2 imo
