Aftermarket IC fan. 1 Year, 11 Months ago Karma: 10
Have just fitted a new SMIC and the fan just has two wirers. i need to re-wire but cant remember how it starts itself. how do i test tat it works wen it should or tat it does at all and were do i wire too and wat way help needed.

Attached to your engine lid there is a black sensor. Unplug it and the ic fan should start up. I suppose the easiest way to check temp switch is go for a blast and leave idle for a minute?? But un doing that switch will get the fan going anyhow.

Hi Glen, I think the two wires should just go to the factory smic fan wires. Your last smic had a fan right?

ye. so does tat mean snip and re-wire. but the wires are bl/blk strip (N) and bl/r strip (P), would tat connect to blk (N) and bl(P)....?
