I thought that your existing insurer has to insure you ? I've also heard that they can give you a silly high quote but they should quote you.

I was about to say to ask Anto but he has garage insurance. Buying yourself a garage isn't an option ?

The car takes a bit of getting use to due to power band (which isn as terrible as I would have thought). The size of the car means a relearn of cornering etc on narrow back roads ha but its incredible planted and controllable even when the back breaks loose.

The mr2 was prob pushing a wee bit over 300-320hp but this is in a completely different league altogether. The mr2 feels very very slow in comparison.

Also should have updated got sorted with insurance for 1400e with current insurere 123.ie after many calls and arguments.

You still have this Baz? Up in Dublin today by any chance?
