The weight was one thing but i think it was also for better weight distribution - afaik, they placed the 3S further back to help this.

I heard they're limited to 500hp? They can hit that ok with a 3sgte anyway so like Spidey said why drag around the extra weight of a 2jz.

Probably hard to keep a race spec 2jz down to 500hp

If you appear on autotrader.com in canada a 93 supra with turbo from japan is around 20,000 for a decent one. Turbo of course, if its not turbo its like half cost of the and if its auto then cost decreases more. Place is great looking car and anyone who has a supra is the person getting that for pieces not some body whos gonna repair it.
