I am going to clean my car, what I should say is somebody under my direction is going to clean the car inside and out.

These guys come highly recommended Spirit Detailing

I have asked him to clean up the interior and the level of cleaning provided is something I could not get near, check his site for details.

Also asked for the paintwork to be cleaned up, well insofar as possible. Basically from the front of the doors to the rear and roof. No point doing the front as it will receive it's bi-annual pebble dashing in 10 days. Clean down

After this is done I will post up some after photo's, I haven't had time to get any before pictures done.

This will give me a good basis to getting the car painted after I come back from Scotland and then maybe give it to Spirit for some ceramic quartz coating to help prevent the chips. Looking forward to this as its the start of having the car finished the way I have wanted it to be.

They def sound very knowledgeable from their site.

The site is very impressive indeed, infact it would nearly put you off as it may seem hyper expensive.

Brian is a sound down to earth guy, he dropped me home to my place after leaving the car with him in Leixlip. He went out of his way when going home by about 15 miles fair play to him. I think for the service he is providing the price was reasonable for a days work and material. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, so lets see how the car is later.

Mrs Slipsliderg is collecting the car at 16-30, can't wait to get home and see how it faired.

Would love to have done it myself but I don't have the equipment or expertise to do this without risking the car inside and out.

In that regard I bow to eringobragh for doing the work himself.

Slip, looks great. Pity for me that they are so far east of Galway. Would love to get my red car professionally sorted. Post up pics of the finished car when you get a chance.

All I'll say is its a time consuming affair..and by the amount of correction work needed in my car it would be €€€ to get to where I want it.

I'm only at 25% in the correction work

hopefully it wont be as bad this year ... milder winter, less grit and gravel spread onto the roads

Still plenty of work could be done on mine, but it will wait till I get back and funds have recovered.

ive seen a lot of their work over on bmw driver and its absolutly top notch.you cannot go wrong with them im trying to get the money together at the moment for them to do a full detail on my 325.pricey but worth every penny.

Well job is done, collected the car on Wednesday but didn't manage to get any photos till now.

Very happy with the job done, paint got a good going over and the inside got a tidy up, which was all it needed really.
