They can, but can the drivers? In the drift bible mid engine cars are renowned as the most exhilerating, yet difficult to drift

Forget this tutorial. I mean absolutely no disrespect to the Drift King - he's the guy that showed us it is possible to drift in a Honda Civic Type R Hatchback. However, most of us as MR2 drivers do not want to take our beautiful cars out for a track day - it's for cruising and the occasional fish, chips and coconut oil...

The next time it rains, I want you to take your MR2 to an abandoned parking lot. I want you to keep in mind the understeer, oversteer, understeer philosophy of our car. Practice adding more and more gas after the first understeer, until you learn to drift it properly. When you want your land legs back, let off the gas. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Why do this?

Saves on brakes, gas and tires. More importantly it is still a proper drift for one reason - if the use of landscape, such as dirt turbo and and drop drift are not only legal but PROPER techniques in motorsports, this is no different for a street car.

Now that you've gotten your little child to come out and play, it's time to whip out your badass glasses as the clouds disappear. Yes, the badass is always bold. You've still got to meet up with the other MR2 owners for fish and chips.
