Hmm... that has an 03+ front on an 02 plate, can't see the rear lights to tell what rear it has, extremely cheap if its an honest car though.

No its a decent enough car, I just felt i'd have to spend less money on the one I bought and the one I bought has leather interior etc I also got alot of history and receipts and it came from a retired toyota mechanic who now restores classic cars so all that swayed me into buying my current one, I had a look at both of them with slipsliderg on the same evening so it was easy at the time doing a comparison

nothing out of the ordinary, maybe bonnet respray, general engine bay tidy up, slight bit of rust when u take out the boot liner on the arches, and when u open doors it was probably treated with a paint on rust repair that gone a bit off colour, but the lad was very nice and honest and will pointed out things himself, I bought mine for 2k and prob spent the guts of 1k alltogether on engine bay, discs & pads, arches redone, altenator etc, id say if you got it for maybe 1.5k and put a few hundred aside for bits and pieces it would be a lovely car, i love the white over black scheme. id say the key to keeping a mk 1 in decent nick is to keep ontop of any rust spots and get it out on the road a few times each week or if you have a garage to store it in then your laughing
