I am living near Mitchelstown cork. I have joined this site due to me fingers crossed getting a mr2 turbo this weekend all going well . It will be my first rwd car <<but i am not buying it for that ... My idea is something i can bop along in to work everyday while feeling that little bit special ....

car history started off in a fiesta moved to a mondeo ... then leap frogged to a 1979 mk3 capri <<< loved this car the moved on to a torneo accord , then a primera and went traveling for a while in mexico . came back bought a BZR Levin and now i own a saab 93 diesel which will be sold this weekend for my mr2

quick update car bought pictures to come later got insured with liberty no problem

iv been using as a daily driver for last few months coming off the road now for winter...

she has had new leads new alluminium radiator ... complete service...


i would like her to get around 270 bhp so need some guidance....


and peoples toughts.....

aparently a metal headgasket needs to be put in place ?

boost controller

would i need anything more...

i will be putting drilled and grove disks on this winter also

new alloys as these 17s wolface are horrible

Nice pics Fletchey, the Red paint is looking well!

For power upgrades you might want to check the MR2 Power primer. It takes a little bit of reading but is very helpful to understanding what does what in terms of modifications:

yup she stands out tax is out the first of october so she will be hibernating until march
