Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and was advised to join by SteveH as I will be in the market for a Rev 3/4 in the next few months. I'm looking up threads and getting some helpful tips.

I nearly bought an MR2 a few years back so I will fulfil the dream in a few months hopefully!!

I've to get back to reading more threads now

Hi Dmac. Thanks for the welcome! I would be looking for a turbo. I should have mentioned that. I'm in the Kildare area.

I've been drooling over exsmr2's MR2 that's up for sale. Absolutely stunning car

Hi Rex Banner - yeah there is plenty to read about. Great for finding what to look out for when I'm actively looking for a car.

Yeah that's the one. It's very nicely modified! Ah sure I'm only a few mins from you

Thanks for the welcome lads!

Yeah dmac that is a lot on the car which I have heard was done correctly which is always a plus. I may see if it is still available in a few months and perhaps have a chat with him. I have a maximum figure in my mind so we will see what is available come the time.

Thanks SteveH! In fairness the "German scrap" has got me around for over 3 years....and has only gone through a gearbox, all brake discs, gaskets, a lot of brake pads, a lot of servicing, wheels and lots more parts! Plus, it's only €422 tax every three months - absolute bargain
