Hi guys,

What would you consider the best and worst areas of Dublin to live in? I thought I'd ask since most of you would be more familiar than me in this topic.
Thanks,

Rafael

There are lots of nice areas. Stillorgan, Blackrock, Foxrock, Killiney, Dalkey and stepaside to name a few.

Not gona name any of the worst areas so as not to offend anyone

You are on about the country folk going to dublin ... Try going to kinnegad in westmeath and tell me can you hear a country accent or a dublin accent ..

Bad thread idea this ... someone is going to end up insulted ...LOL

Are you looking for a place to rent? If you're working in the city I'd look around D6. Ranelagh, Rathmines and Rathgar have a lot of large houses that have been split up into flats, should be plenty of places available. A similar area on the opposite side of the river is drumcondra. The docklands is nice but pretty expensive I'd imagine
