Hi all.ive a rev3 turbo and was wondering if anyone came across this before.. When I go to boost the car just splutters and hesitates.boost gauge is reading maximum boost constantly.had a quick look around for split pipes but ran out of light and time so I'll look again tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas before I go looking. Cheers

Sounds like the spark is jumping check plugs,leads, distributor cap and coil.

I went at it after work there.drove to work and it got worse.car wouldn't accelerate at all so basically spluttered to work.radio was going off, boost gauge reading full and rev clock going mad.found it wasn't charging so checked the Earth's. The gearbox earth wasn't great so cleaned it up.added another earth beside the timing belt and she's sound again.happy days for another while.ha
