Heads up for anyone interested in doing the track day training before the end of the year...
I rang Mondello earlier and there is only one more scheduled on the 26th September 2012 in the afternoon. I put my name down but she wouldn't take payment as she said it won't go ahead if there isn't enough people.

It's €50.

So get yer names down, it's meant to be a great course....and I plan on becoming a trackday regular after it!!

I booked it just now, as 2 mates wanted to do it...
There are only 6 names down so far, they need ten so give them a ring and put your name down if you are thinking about it!

Had a great afternoon in mondello, and the sun came out for us. This is well worth doing and easily worth the 50 squids. The car was fantastic and never missed a beat, except for my aftermarket immobiliser but that's cause I don't know how the bloody thing works. I got a few passenger laps in the safety car M3, now that was impressive driving.
The NA is easily enough power for me at the moment, it's gonna be fun practising the lines at the ISDC Trackday. Brakes were dead on, tyres were dead on and the engine was pulling very well. I my have caught the bug

Anyway definitely recommend doing this!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Good to get some practice in before getting out with a full track load of loonies.its all about the tyres

Those other ones are backups just in case, wouldn't wanna get a puncture at the start of a trackday... KC'd for those btw!

Anyone going to this, I'd be up for this - do you need to bring anything like helmet, etc?

My mates are doing it, one in the puma and one borrowing my 2. Yeah bring a helmet if u have one!

Haven't got a lid at the moment..any more details on this track day? are you using an instructors car or your own?

I have a spare lid ... well its for passengers in my car but if I am there you are welcome to use it..
