cheers for the advice mate, I just wanted to see if I could make one for free because i was bored
Anyway here's what I came up with.....
here's the box and all little bits that come inside it...

You can see a little notch cut out of the inside of the box in the middle, you can ignore that, it was part of camera mount 1.0

then I just turned the middle box on its side and slid it into the bigger one
_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG
then I made a hole in the plastic holder that the phone originally sat in, just big enough so the camera lens wasn't obstructed
_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG
so I just sat it into the holder
_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG
then just slide the holder and phone into the space left in the box

You can see that you can press the button to start recording without any problems..

Handily you'll find that this set-up is a perfectly snug fit in the centre console!

and when your done recording your epicness it stows away perfectly, ready for the next time you feel like recording your mr2 adventures

here's a little vid of camera mount 2.0 in action that cost me precisely €0 :fatcat:
Angle is slightly too low in this one but thanks to the snug fit is is infinitely adjustable

I realise this isn't going to be very useful to a lot of ye but it passed a few minutes for me :silly:
