Just a heads up - I done the heated seats mods over a year ago - essential mod in this country!

See thread here:

www.mr2.ie/mr2-forum/10-general/51353-heated-seats

Any way spotted same kit for less than $50 shipped to Ireland

www.aliexpress.com/item/100-100-positive...seat/1202086168.html

Well worth it - use it when Im on the early shifts

How quick do yours heat up ? would you need to have them turned on for a few mins before you get in ? or is it fairly instant ?

Have you measured the current draw on them ?

They wouldn't be as quick as OEM , probably 3 - 4 minutes it'll be up to speed - haven't measured the draw no issues with them as of yet.

They are on a switched circuit (Soldered link to relay and fuseboard from cig lighter) so that circuit should be more than up to the task.

That's still plenty quick. Might get them for the wife's car and get me some brownie points : )

Freezing cold might be a bit longer but they are pretty fast

Defo worth doing - does she have leather in hers ? if its cloth make sure it can be fitted to the car

Shouldn't be an issue on your era car lees - reason I said that to spidey is some modern seats they hae glued the material to the foam and thats a non-runner.

taking your time at this job is key to getting it right - order it anyway I paid €60 for mine, but use it every week
