Who got a good surprise this Christmas ? 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 114
Even though I like what I got,I can't say that any of my Christmas presents was a surprise this year, so I am wondering who was surprised at what presents they received and what did you get ?

New lidl creeper board, smellies and socks.

Would love to balance things out for next year, but it would cost me twice as much

Actually on this topic, I have never been in a relationship where the women got my present right. You know a genuine honest to goodness surprise, and yet it is men that get bad mouthed every Christmas for not buying the correct surprise. WTF is that all about.

Jesus a flat head and a philip's screwdriver would be cherished even if they were made out of marshmallow, and would automatically earn a special draw in the toolbox.

Most of my present weren't surprises and any that were weren't worth being surprised by

I did manage to surprise my parents though. They were heading to my brothers in Switzerland for 4 days over Christmas. the main reason for this is to spend time with my two nephews (3&6 years old), as well as my bro and his wife.

What my parents didn't know is that myself and Mrs Spanky were on the same flight to Geneva. Originally we had left them to the airport, wished them Merry Christmas and went to work. But instead of going to work we parked the car and went into the airport hotel for breaky. Then, after phoning to check were they were under the premise of "is your flight on time..." we hid in W H Smiths, boarded the plane last (by the rear steps) and flew off.

The first time we actually saw my parents was at baggage re-claim but we stayed well away, while always watching them. our bag came out before theirs which meant our fiendish plan of surprise was going to work. We finally crept up on them outside the airport at the drop off/pick up point ....

Also manage to get some snowboarding in while I was there 'cause my lucky git of a brother has these ski slopes 20 mins from his house ....

me boarding ....

complete run (my bro is in orange top and brown bottoms) ....

Sad as we are, myself and my brother calculated our speed. Average on a run of 24-27 mph with a peak of around 38mph .... it feels much faster but does explain why falling isn't much fun.

All in all a good Christmas

Congratulations on the engagement.

Optimus Prime would be very cool - but if she doesn't agree, how about

The Dark Knight ?
Iron Man ?
Megatron ?
Silver Surfer ?
