My beams MR2 has a Fujistubo exhaust but its just too loud for me, i was just wanting a standard exhaust, but will one from a NA MR2 fit it?

Thanks for the PM Senna, I have checked the part numbers and they seem to be the same, but the only way of really knowing is get one from a breaker and offer it up to it and see.

Sorry I couldn't be any more concise with it but the part number for the back box look to be the same from 89 to 99.

Is that the full chassis number you sent me, if not send on the full number so I can double check it.

Beams is a 3sge with different internals or ecu or something, to get 30(ish) bhp more. I wouldn't be surprised if the exhausts exactly the same ... I would say most external parts are exactly the same, except for the rocker cover obviously.

A new standard exhaust will cost you a fortune £1000+ ... I kid you not. If your mind is set on standard then best to shop around or find someone to do a swap with.

Standard and Fuji aren't much different in terms of sound level by the way.

Thanks for the replies lads,
Yeah thats the full vin, but i had looked myself and REV5 NA jap car (which i think are all beams) have the same exhaust as earlier models, but just couldn't find anything to confirm 100%.
I would say my Fujistubo is a bit burned out as its a good bit louder than when i has a REV3 NA with a standard exhaust, its a pity cause i would have killed for the Fujistubo when i did have my REV3. But now i'm older and boring
