TOPIC: Mk1 MR2 clean up!

Re: Mk1 MR2 clean up! 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 246
I was considering that, but I just dont think a wrap is good value? A spray job is probably only about 500 quid extra and will last a hell of a lot longer, Im kind of hung up on the black with a matt black crest on the bonnet and toyota mr2 decal in gold along bottom of the doors & gold rims, i think the gold rims would suit black, decals are only a suggestion at the moment

Mk1 survives again, was nearly going to sell it, met up with a man yesterday morning to look at where the paint got pulled on the rear arches so its booked in for tidy up, he's actually going to:
Re do all four arches, he pointed out little hair lines in the paint on the front bumper that he's going to do and will do the same with the rear bumper, He's taking it on Sunday and will tip[ away at it for the next week or two and all for the princly sum of €400

Good stuff Dave. Looks a lot smoother without the aerial there. I'm planning to go a similar way.

Are you bringing her to the meet next Thursday?

Yes its a great job, he gave all the arches a cleaning up even though they didnt need it and he handed back the car clean and waxed aswell aswell as all the bits and pieces he did,
I'm looking forward to tomorrow with slight apprehension, must charge up the camera as it looks like a good variety of cars going. I also downloaded an app called trackmaster that will record our times and various other bits of info that can then be overlaid onto the video that the phone takes, really interested to see how it works out seems to be a fair few people going to view aswell from octane and bmw forums

All normal then, I have the Jeep loaded up, just need to put the jack into it now. Check your oil level tonight and would be an idea to bring a litre of GTX just in case, I have some with me as well.

First day out of bed since Wednesday and feeling better kinda, will keep taking the drugs and I will be oxo for sitting in the passo seat.
