Hey, yeah it was when the car was parked opposite the restaurant. Funnily enough I was having dinner in the same place, nice but expensive!
Really nice MR2 you've got, unusual to see a 1999 MR2 in Ireland.

That's hilarious - having dinner in same place...
I spent ages and ages searching for rev5 GT Tbar, after a lot of searching i found one.
It is actually from Sept 99, they stopped making the turbos is Oct 99.
I just wish it was black or cosmos blue, but sure you cant have everything!

I have a red Rev1, sunroof model. It's remarkable how similar they are in design given they were built almost a decade apart. The Rev5 looks 'bigger' and more muscular though for some reason, wouldn't mind one myself some day!

Ah sunroof model, nice - can't you take out the roof n put it in the front?
I vaguely remember reading about that, seems like a cool idea:)
They are identical really except for the larey spoiler, i actually prefer the older style rear end and lights. Also the red is hard to keep shiny, mine is in dire need of some TLC compared to it shiny summer time living hehe!

Yeah that's right, you can remove the sunroof and store it under the bonnet, handy enough. Doesn't leak at all either which is nice, I'd love to have a full t-bar some day though.
Yeah agree with you about the red paint. It's v difficult to keep looking right especially during winter time.
