Round 2 of prodrift is on May 28th/29th/30th in Punchestown. I'm planning on going at some stage over that weekend is anyone else is interested?

Hi mark, ive a mechanic coming to replace a link on my car at about 12.30 today, but citywest is only 20 mins from me so i'll give you a text around 2ish to let you know either way, I might even drop up in the corolloa with the kid

I'm going to head up for 11 or 12 tomorrow, will be bringing the kid so i'll be in the corolla,

Steve do you have any mr2 cards left? Mark was saying there are a few mr2's in the car park or if anyone else is planning on going toomorrow bring them with you etc, im all out of them

Cheers Steve, yeah it was good fun, I got there about 1.30 or so and thought i'd stay a couple of hours and get bored but ended up staying til the end at 6pm
Planning to head again tomorrow if it stays dry, will try and get some video aswell as more pics. there's 7ft fencing all the way around so it's hard to get pics, these ones were the only ones i liked from 230 pics
That last pic (with stobart on the car) is shane lynch (of boyzone fame), I had seen him in a prodrift photoshoot but assumed it was just a promo thing, i didn't realise he drove, he was out practicing with the pro-seeded lads so he must be pretty good, or is just grouped with them because of who he is

230 pics? Wow, so quite a few then.

Na, Shane's been in the racing circuit for many years, did a lot of touring cars and stuff in his time. I think mostly in the UK. I believe he is well able to chuck a car about. Id say he is there more on his driving credentials than his singing!

Thats gonna be a hard competition, i was going to suggest you crop your 1st photo around to show just the rear wheel and burning rubber waves but I see you have to have the hankook decal in it somewhere and no photoshopping, cropping is about all you can do, i'd say citywest it limited cause of its surroundings for excellent photo's, hmm, you never know, i'm sure you'll surprise us

i think that ae86 was the only one with hancook decals there today. I do like the 1st shot, but the there's no motion in the wheels, i was messing with the shutter speed trying to get some blur in the background and wheels while keeping the car sharp, it's not easy to do the 2nd shot there is my best attempt at that but there's still very little movement in the wheels

Yeh i reckon i'll definately go, i'll probably aim for between 11am & 12, i'll text you when im leaving, will only take me 20 mins to get up
