I have for sale four (4) Blitz Type 03 alloys, (4) centre caps and spare wheel assembly bolts
Offsets: Front: 17x8 +35, Rear: 17x9 +38 i.e. practically perfect MK2 wheel spacing

Note, these photos taken during assembly so some wheel bolts were not yet bolted up. All assembly bolts now in place, hand polished and shining.

I sourced the wheels from an MR2 specialist parts supplier and they are genuine Blitz JDM deap dish alloys. After I had them flown all the way to Ireland I found that whilst there were no major dings or scratches, they looked a bit tired. I had spent over a thousand Euro to get this far and I wanted to make the most of that so I spent a further few hundred euro to have them aesthetically refurbished by Tallaght Powdercoat, who mirror polished the outer rim and applied a beautiful coat of metallic silver to the centres. The advantage of powdercoat is that brake dust and road grime is very easy to clean from the surface.

Unfortunately during the reassembly we found that three or four wheel assembly bolts were damaged during removal and could not be reused. While it would be easy to just put any wheel or cap head bolt in there, I went to great trouble to buy brand new replacements from a friend in the UK MR2 club as they are a special lightweight aircraft grade aluminium. I also took the opportunity to clean up the inside of the rim to try and get the wheels back to as close to 'New' as possible.

When I took the wheels to have brand new tires fitted, the tire shop damaged the outer trim of the two rear wheels in the fitting process. I had them put the new tires on the Enkei's that are on my car and took all four wheels home to think about what to do.

Photos of the damage:

Note: this is a dress trim that is split, the tire sits on the rim ok and holds air despite this.

These would suit someone who loves JDM wheels and has the time and inclination to put the dress trim right. Unfortunately brand new parts can not be bought for these wheels anymore, however I have a good contact in the UK who deals in JDM wheels who has spare parts/rims that can be sourced to put these wheels right.
My work has gotten more and more busy, not leaving me with the time to wrok on this project and also my eye has wandered to a set of WORK rims I want to pursue for my car. Rather than spend more time, effort and money on putting these Blitz rims right, I am willing to sell them off as an unfinished project and thus at a highly reduced price of only €275.

Terms: Pickup in Dublin at mutually convenient location. Payment via paypal, please pm me for my paypal address.

NO DIBBS - FIRST WITH PAYPAL IS THE BUYER

Here are some photos of Mk2's wearing Type 03 wheels. I'm sure you'll agree they make a very handsome combination....

If you're suffering from lag, you're either in the wrong gear or the wrong car!

Just to confirm, the two rear wheels are damaged. The buyer would need to fix this before using the wheels and that's why the price is so low. A refurbished set of Blitz JDM wheels like this would not normally sell for less than €1,000.
