clocks not working 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 1
hi lads

taught somone here might have some ideas I have a 91 non turbo mr2 which has been off the road for 2 and a half years the only problem that is driving me mad is that the speedo temprature gauge and fuel gauge have all stopped working the warning lights on the clocks seem to be ok has anybody ever heard of a gauge ceasing up ?? any input would be greataly appreicated

Could they just be slight damp from sitting up? might be worth taking the cluster out for a few days

Check the fuses. There are 2 seperate ignition supplies to the cluster.

It happened to an old car of mine, not an mr2 mind. It could be that the connectors at the back of the speedo need cleaning, could also be a sensor or a simple fuse as previously stated.

Yep check the gauge fuse 7.5amp

i have a set of clocks from a non turbo if you want to borrow them and try them in yours at least you would know if it is the clocks or something else im in ballinasloe
